Course covers the advanced features of Microsoft Word 2007 (tables, mail merge and keyboard shortcuts), Excel (formulas and editing spreadsheets), Publisher and PowerPoint. This is a 7 week course. If attended 5 out of 7 weeks a Certification of Completion is given.

  • Week 1 – Creating tables in Word. Explanation of Mail Merge and the Wizard.
  • Week 2 – How to create and customize return address labels.
  • Week 3 – Creating Hyperlinks and Text Wrapping.
  • Week 4 – Advanced formulas in Excel.
  • Week 5 – Creating Charts and Graphs in Excel.
  • Week 6 – Creating Business Cards in Publisher. Exploring other ideas for Publisher (Birthday Cards, Calendars, etc.).
  • Week 7 – Developing a small slide show in PowerPoint. Presentation of the Certifications.
